Honda S2000

This cool convertible coupe came in for a two step paint correction + wax, and a full interior detail. The main focus of the correction were the major scratches on the hood. Unfortunately they were slightly too deep to remove as they were pretty deep into the clear coat, and some were to the color coat. I still worked on the area to at least improve the scratches by rounding out the edges while not removing too much of the top coating and there was already a huge difference!
The rest of the car turned out looking pretty good with about an 85% success with removing the rest of the scratches and swirl marks found elsewhere. I was also super excited to finally break out my new dual action polishers and compound/polish, and using these made the paint correction process infinitely easier! My rotary polisher was still handy though for the hood scratches.
This two step paint correction, polish plus wax was quite the job to complete, but not too bad for my first customer paint correction! The exterior definitely had the most satisfying results!
